ChATs - Chief's Advisory Teams

What is ChATs?

The ChATs program is a bold new step in community policing here in our township. Simply put, the ChATs program is an organized effort to get the citizens of Horsham more involved with their community. The most important aspect of the ChATs program is providing a framework to expand dialogue between the citizenry and the Police, Fire and Emergency Services of Horsham. This goal is accomplished by creating ChATs discussion teams within all the neighborhoods of our township.

Are you prepared?  The time to ask this question is not when the rain starts to fall or the winds start to blow.  The Department of Emergency Management would be happy to meet with you and help you create a personal preparedness plan that will assist you and your family during any emergency.

To request a meeting, all you need to do is call us at 215-643-3131 or email us at gbissig@horsham.org with your name and phone number.  We will contact you and schedule an appointment for one of our staff to meet you at your home.  A typical plan meeting will take approximately 45 minutes.  If you already have a plan, we'd be happy to review it with you.  This service is free of charge to any Horsham resident or business.

Being prepared is everyone's responsibility.  Let us help you take the first step.
