How ChATs Works
There are three components to the ChATs program:
Discussion Groups
These forums allow for increased communication between the police and the community on issues of mutual concern.
Neighborhood Awareness
Keeping an eye out for what happens in the community is the first line of defense in keeping our families and homes safe. Taking an active role in the safety of your neighborhood is the best way to participate
Core of Volunteers
Americans have a history of coming together in a time of crisis. ChATs establishes a list of volunteers to be called on to assist your neighbors during a flood, a snowstorm, or other type of emergency.
Our Program hopes to boost volunteerism within the Township. We work closely with the Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments, as well as the Emergency Management Office.
Our goal is simple; improve the quality of life of Horsham Residents and Visitors through our volunteer efforts.
