Getting Involved

Ways to Participate

There are several ways to get involved in the ChATs program. The ChATs program is open to all Horsham Residents 18 years of age and over.

ChATs Coordinator/Volunteer

Coordinators will organize, promote and set meeting agenda for participating ChATs neighborhood groups. Coordinators gather information from neighborhood members and present any issues to be addressed to our township partners for guidance.

Members

Meet with coordinators at scheduled meetings. May also volunteer for ChATs related activities.

Neighborhood Watch

May be asked to patrol areas that are experiencing incidents of vandalism, loitering, or unlawful activity.

Members

*Both Coordinators and Members must complete an ChATs Membership Application and pass a Police Background Check.

Email List

ChATs maintains an email distribution list which is used for communicating information such as:

  • Breaking News in the Township
  • Press Releases from the Horsham Police Department
  • Emergency Readiness and Training Information from partner agencies such as the American Red Cross.
